Suggested itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi
Meet your driver at the Delhi airport or station and transfer to your hotel. Settle in after your journey and review the route with your guide or trip coordinator. If arrival time permits, take a short evening drive or walk in a nearby heritage district.
Day 2 — Delhi sightseeing
Explore a mix of Old and New Delhi with a local guide, choosing stops such as Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb or Qutub Minar. Allow time for lunch and travel between districts, as city traffic can be slow. Return to your Delhi hotel for the night ahead of the drive to Agra.
Day 3 — Agra
Drive to Agra by private vehicle and check in or leave your bags at the hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal when open and explore Agra Fort with your guide, allowing time for security and the grounds. Enjoy a relaxed evening in Agra; the Taj Mahal is generally closed to visitors on Fridays.
Day 4 — Agra to Jaipur
Leave Agra for Jaipur, with an optional stop at Fatehpur Sikri if time and opening hours allow. Break for lunch during the road journey and arrive in Jaipur later in the day. Check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening in the Pink City.
Day 5 — Jaipur sightseeing
Explore Amber Fort with your guide, allowing time for the ascent and fort interiors. Continue to Jaipur’s City Palace and the Jantar Mantar area if open, with photo stops around the old city. Keep time for browsing local crafts or simply rest before your onward journey.
Day 6 — Travel to Varanasi and Ganga Aarti
Transfer for your flight or train connection to Varanasi; the exact timing depends on the service booked. On arrival, meet your local driver and check into your hotel. If your connection arrives early enough, attend evening Ganga Aarti at the riverfront.
Day 7 — Sunrise Ganga and departure
Begin with a sunrise boat ride along the ghats when river conditions allow. After breakfast, visit Kashi Vishwanath or selected city temples, leaving room for security and queues. Your driver transfers you to the airport or station according to your onward schedule.
